Magnus Jelen
Lead Director of Incident Response UK & EMEA, Coveware, Inc.

Magnus has more than 15 years of experience from military, law enforcement and intelligence operations and is a qualified hostage negotiator and former Intelligence Officer. Today at Coveware, Magnus guides and advises enterprise organizations through preparation for and/or handling of cyber extortion events. Magnus also acts as an advisor for policy makers and law enforcement agencies on a national and international level.


Rob Dartnall

Rob, in his role at SecAlliance, has been part of or overseen over 200 Intelligence Led Red Team engagements across industry in all corners of the world. He also leads multiple National and International Intelligence Sharing communities for Governments and National Central Banks. Working as an advisor, he supports the development of national intelligence and resilience frameworks. With his work at CREST, an international not-for-profit, membership body representing the global cyber security industry, Rob is the Chair of the UK Council, International Board member, Exam Author and Assessor.

Andreas Nordenadler

Andreas Nordenadler is the Regional Sales Director for the Nordics at Nozomi Networks. With extensive cybersecurity experience, Andreas is responsible for supporting industrial organizations and critical infrastructures in the region to secure and monitor their OT & IoT networks. Andreas Nordenadler comes from a long experience working with IT and OT Security having held positions at Microsoft, Bluecoat, Radware, CyberArk, Extrahop and Cyberbit before joining Nozomi Networks.

Azi Vaziri
Technical Programs Lead, Threat Intelligence Group, Google

Azi Vaziri leads Technical Programs across Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG), a team focused on countering state-backed threats, coordinated disinformation operations, financially motivated cybercrime, and the exploitation of software vulnerabilities. Prior to joining TAG in 2021, she worked on Google’s Safe Browsing service, which protects 5 billion devices around the world against phishing, malware, and unwanted software. Outside of Google, Azi works actively against internet censorship and threats posed by repressive regimes to human rights workers and other high-risk users.

Balthasar Martin
Red Team Lead, SRLabs

Balthasar is leading the SRLabs red team where he built the capabilities to perform red team, purple team, TIBER-EU and DORA TLTP engagements.

While hacking the most critical European networks and infrastructure is an exciting part of the job, his team’s main purpose is to provide strategic insights, improvement advice, and training opportunities for defense teams.

Having seen a lot of corporate environments over the years, he continously highlights structural issues and develops improvement strategies to increase hacking resilience.

Emil Brockstedt Marburger
Senior Associate, Bech-Bruun

Emil Brockstedt Marburger has extensive experience within data protection, cyber security, AI, and related digital legal regulation and compliance aspects. Emil advises private companies and public institutions on all aspects within these areas, including risk assessments, data mapping, compliance projects, implementation of security measures, supplier audits, etc.

Emil is a key member of Bech-Bruun’s first response unit to data protection security breaches and therefore has vast experience with handling all kinds of cyber incidents. These are often managed alongside CSIS, with Bech-Bruun being responsible for the legal and communicative aspects, whereas CSIS handles all technical aspects, including IR and forensics services.
Additionally, Emil assists with mergers and acquisitions within all digital legal aspects, covering due diligence, input to transaction documents, and negotiations, always focusing on commercially feasible solutions. Emil’s background in labor and employment law provides him with extensive knowledge of data protection within HR, making him a highly sought-after advisor in his field.


Ionut-Cristian Bucur
Security Researcher, CSIS Security Group

Ionut is a cybersecurity professional who started his journey with an interest in red teaming and penetration testing. Through his initial experiences in the domain, he gained valuable insights into cyber vulnerabilities and attack methodologies. His interests shifted when he recognized the potential magnitude mobile threats could reach in an increasingly digital world. Driven by a desire to make a difference and better protect people’s sensitive data, Ionut pivoted to the realm of mobile cybersecurity and threat intelligence. Today, as a Security Researcher at CSIS, Ionut uses his knowledge and experience to constantly drive CSIS’ threat intelligence and research efforts forward.


James Kwaan
Senior Manager Cyber Operations, Lloyds Banking Group

James Kwaan has worked for a number of blue chip companies covering AI, Simulation, Energy and Financial Services. He is a former Director of Information Security (CISO) and Global data protection officer. In his spare time he is President of (ISC)2 Scotland and former Vice President of ISACA Scotland. James is a recognised expert in Information Security and in 2017 was awarded three prizes for his contribution to the field:
Malcolm Turner Memorial Prize for outstanding contribution to Risk Management and Information Security,
Wayne K. Snipes prize for best European ISACA Chapter,
and Cyber Evangelist of the year at the Scottish Cyber Awards.


Jan Kaastrup
Chief Innovation Officer, CSIS Security Group

Jan has been an Advisory Board Member of Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) from 2013-2018 and has been an advisor on numerous major international security incidents, such as WannaCry, Petya, etc.
With over 20 years’ experience in IT-security (including network architecture, forensics, incident response, malware research, penetration testing and financial fraud), Jan frequently appears on Danish TV as a cybersecurity subject-matter expert.
Jan regularly presents at regional and international cyber security conferences, in addition to hosting the annual Copenhagen Cybercrime Conference.
He was the keynote speaker at the IBM Nordic security summit and has presented at the Digital Crimes Consortium, Security Analyst Summit, and at Europol.


Kasper Bilde Nielsen

Kasper Bilde Nielsen is a distinguished expert in digitalisation, new technology, cyber security, data protection law, and compliance. Mathias Andersen

Mathias is a Danish police officer working for the Special Crime Unit as a cybercrime investigator. Mathias investigates reported cybercrime cases and takes part in international investigations within high tech crime. He has an investigative background in major crimes including homicide and arson.


Mikkel Planck
Senior Cybersecurity Specialist, Crowdstrike

More than 25 years in the IT- and cybersecurity industry, working mainly with network and endpoint security. After working as both a consultant, and also being a former business owner, Mikkel is highly focused on HOW it’s actually possible to solve today’s security challenges in real world scenarios. Mikkel Friis Rossa

Mikkel heads Bech-Bruun’s +40 lawyer IP & Technology department, which is recognised as leading within the field in Denmark.

Senior CTI Consultant and Independent Researcher,

Nick, has just joined SecAlliance after working for over 5 years for one of the UK Big 4 Banks as a CTI SME in the tactical and operational disciplines, he has over 15 years of Law Enforcement experience, primary as a Detective investigating serious organised crime, and cyber operations. Nick has led and been involved in multiple complex international cybercrime investigations, including Crack As with Attitude and Locka GoGa. He helped develop groundbreaking technical capabilities and was part of an International Cyber Task Force with the FBI. Nick’s expertise in Cyber Investigations, OSINT, and covert capabilities is extensive. Receiving 2 FBI Commendations and coached award-winning teams. In his spare time, Nick loves to spend time with his family, be in nature, and his Saint Bernard Dog. He enjoys logic and 3d Puzzles and even in his spare time loves researching and investigating Cyber Threats and devilling investigations opportunities.

Nicole Wong
EMEA Threat Operations Pillar Lead, Darktrace

Nicole Wong is a Principal Analyst Consultant and EMEA Threat Operations Lead at Darktrace, where she leads high profile investigations across IT and OT and multi-disciplinary threat research projects. She consults with global security teams on driving the proactive use of AI for SOC transformation and cyber threat analysis. Prior to joining Darktrace, Nicole served in the UK’s National Health Service and supported the technical delivery of new security initiatives. Nicole applies her diverse experience from cognitive decision-making research and working in clinical environments to break down technical barriers in security, participating in public speaking events and podcasts to support talent diversity in cyber. Nicole holds certifications in GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) and SSCP.

Stefan Tanase

Stefan is an experienced security researcher based in Bucharest, Romania. Having spent the last two decades combating the world’s most sophisticated cyber threats, Stefan joined CSIS Security Group in 2019 as Cyber Intelligence Expert, part of the eCrime Unit. Through innovative research projects and effective public speaking engagements, he actively contributes to keeping internet users safe. While Stefan specializes in collecting threat intelligence and monitoring the cybercrime ecosystem, he has a real passion for digital rights and internet privacy.

Daniel Shepherd
CEO, CSIS

Daniel joined CSIS in order to drive the creation of two spin-off companies: one focused on Incident Response and Threat Hunting, the other focused on eCommerce Fraud. 
Daniel has been working in the cybersecurity industry for over 5 years now.  He initially started with S21sec, the leading security service provider in Spain and Portugal.  Based in Mexico City, he led the company’s LATAM operations.  Then, having moved back to be based in London, he was appointed Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of International Business.  
Before S21sec, Daniel worked for over 12 years for various US and European management consultancy firms, advising companies across various industries and globally on strategy, growth and operational improvement.
