Christian Venderby
Executive Vice President, Chief Service Officer, Vestas

Christian Venderby is Executive Vice President and Chief Service Officer at Vestas. With two decades of experience in driving growth and maturity across global organisations, Christian has most recently overseen the rapid expansion of Vestas’ Service business. Under his tenure, Vestas’ Service arm has grown into the world’s largest service solutions provider for renewable technologies, and has elevated the industry benchmark for the operations, maintenance and digitalisation of renewable assets. Going forward, Christian’s focus is on establishing a stronger foundation for the green energy transition, ensuring that scalability and digital innovation play a key role in enhancing the stability of renewable energy, and in meeting global climate goals.


Frederik Stengaard Mehlsen
Technical Solution Manager, Cyber Security, Fellowmind

Frederik Stengaard Mehlsen is the Principal Security Architect at Fellowmind, where he helps define the requirements and security principals used across all of Fellowminds services. He has solid experience with MITRE ATT&CK, Incident response and cloud security.


Marko Jung
Principal Engineer / Head of Counter Threat Unit, The LEGo Group

Marko’s first computer was a Sun SparcStation. He has been using Unix – the world’s greatest text adventure – over the three decades and attained a ninth-degree black belt in Unix ninja skills. He spent the majority of his career in research and academia with stops at the Max-Planck Gesellschaft, SUSE Labs, and the University of Oxford. Marko eventually arrived at his spiritual home at the LEGO Group where he champions digital security.
 

Staffan Truvé
Co-founder & CTO, Recorded Future

Staffan co-founded Recorded Future in 2009. Previous to that, he was CEO of the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) and Interactive Institute. Before that, he was CEO of CR&T, a research-oriented consulting company and technology incubator.
Staffan has co-founded or helped launch more than a dozen high tech start-ups, including Spotfire, Appgate, SmartEye, PilotFish, Makewave, Gavagai, Peerialism, Axiomatics, and Recorded Future. He has been on the board of several other startups, and has acted as a senior advisor to InnovationsKapital, a Swedish VC fund.
Staffan holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology. He has been a visiting Fulbright Scholar at MIT and holds an MBA from Gothenburg University. His research interests include parallel and distributed computing, artificial intelligence, information visualization, and open source intelligence.
Staffan is chairman of the Swedish national AI initiative, AI Sweden (ai.se) and member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
 

Speakers

Anton Kalinin
Principal Security Engineer, CSIS

Anton has over 11 years of experience in the cybersecurity field and has a wide area of expertise, including malware analysis, digital forensics, and incident response.
He joined Kaspersky in 2011 as a malware analyst. He spent seven years at Kaspersky and had different positions across the company, such as senior digital forensics analyst and security researcher. During his Sophos years, Anton was working on the analysis and detection of emerging threats and in-house sandbox development to provide better detection capabilities for the customers. At Yandex, he was a part of the SOC team performing varieties of different tasks such as incident response and threat hunting. In addition, he worked closely with system administrators and various service teams to improve network visibility and make it easier for security engineers to catch suspicious activity inside the network.
Currently, Anton performs full-cycle incident response as a consultant at CSIS for different companies.
 
 
 

Aubrey Surgers
Postal Inspector, U.S. Postal Inspection Service

Aubrey Surgers is a Postal Inspector with the United States Postal Inspection Service, which is one of two law enforcement arms under the United States Postal Service. Inspector Surgers works for the Cybercrime Group and is a Program Manager who liaisons with the Postal Service’s Corporate Information Security Office’s (CISO) group where he coordinates criminal investigations where either the Postal network or brand is involved. Prior to the cyber liaison role, Inspector Surgers worked a myriad of investigations ranging from international mail fraud, mail theft, identity theft, and account takeovers, to child pornography and narcotics. Before becoming a Postal Inspector, Inspector Surgers worked as a Houston Police Officer for over 8 years and did some time in one of their specialized units where he could utilize some of his information technology expertise. Inspector Surgers has a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security/Cybersecurity from Texas A&M University, a MS of Science in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a concentration in Management Information Systems, and a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston. Inspector Surgers is a proud father of 3 sons, 24, 22 and 17.
 

Chris Parker
Fraud Analytics Product & Threat Lead, NatWest Group

Chris has worked for NatWest Group for over 20 years, focusing on innovation and mitigation of the fraudulent attacks that target customer’s Digital services. Multi-million pound loss prevention solutions, which utilise internal and external data insights have been delivered by Chris within this time and he holds a sound industry insight on gaps and opportunities as the attack dynamics evolve within the financial industry.


David Johnson
Senior Intelligence Analyst, U.S. Postal Inspection Service

David Johnson is a Senior Intelligence Analyst for the Cyber and National Security unit at the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and is stationed at the National Cyber Forensics & Training Alliance (NCFTA) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Based on his understanding of the threat landscape, he currently assists Postal Inspectors with investigations that are both technical and non-technical, while also conducting research into threat actors and their TTP’s (techniques, tactics, & procedures). Prior to USPIS, he worked with various groups at the NCFTA, including creating and managing the daily operations of a program focused on analysis of malware and technical threats.
 

Dr Douglas Haywood
Head Of Security, Tesco Bank

Douglas Haywood – Douglas has over 15 years experience working in threat intelligence across a number of disciplines with a particular interest in fraud and cybercrime. He joined Tesco Bank in 2012, building and leading threat intelligence and investigation teams. Prior to this, he worked as an Intelligence Analyst with the Metropolitan Police, focusing on serious and organised crime. He has a PhD in hacktivism from the University of London and has published a number of articles on cybercrime. Douglas has been involved in various UK banking industry intelligence groups and is involved in developing cyber security as a profession in the UK. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security.
 
 

Ido Naor
Co-founder & CEO, Security Joes

Ido is the CEO and Co-founder of Security Joes. He’s a world renowned researcher with vast knowledge in Incident Response, Malware Analysis & Red Teaming. Security Joes are a leading company in these areas, a cyber alliance for the state of Israel and a frequent responsible disclosure of in-the-wild cyberattacks. Ido is a former Kaspersky GReAT, McAfee Labs and Cisco. Aside from security, Ido is a martial arts expert holding Dan 1 black belt in Kyokushin-Kai, book writer and a father of 3 daughters.

Jan Kaastrup
Chief Innovation Officer, CSIS

Jan has been an Advisory Board Member of Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) from 2013-2018 and has been an advisor on numerous major international security incidents, such as WannaCry, Petya, etc.
With over 20 years’ experience in IT-security (including network architecture, forensics, incident response, malware research, penetration testing and financial fraud), Jan frequently appears on Danish TV as a cybersecurity subject-matter expert. 
Jan regularly presents at regional and international cyber security conferences, in addition to hosting the annual Copenhagen Cybercrime Conference.


Jasper Bongertz
Head of Incident Response, G DATA Advanced Analytics
Jasper Bongertz is a network security expert with focus on network forensics and incident response at G DATA Advanced Analytics in Bochum, Germany. He started working freelance in 1992 while he was studying computer science at the Technical University of Aachen. In 2009, Jasper became a Senior Consultant and trainer for Fast Lane, where he created a large training portfolio with a special focus on Wireshark and network hacking. In 2013, he joined Airbus CyberSecurity, working on projects related to IT security, Incident Response and Network Forensics, before moving on and joining G DATA Advanced Analytics in August 2019 as the Principal Network Security Specialist and Head of Incident Response.

 

Michael Bisbjerg 
Senior Consultant, Chronos Services, CSIS

Michael is a security consultant with multiple years of experience in Incident Responses which has given him an insight into what needs to be done when incidents happen. He uses this knowledge to help build CSIS’ internal tools and procedures which help our customers get through rough patches quicker.
 

Michael Sjøberg
Hostage Survival & Crisis Management Expert, CEO, Delta Crisis Management

Michael Sjøberg leads hostage negotiation and crisis management consultancy Human Advisor Group. Michael has worked professionally with crisis management and negotiations since 2001 – he is an army captain (ret.) and holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations with complex risk management, crisis negotiations and strategic handling of high profile political hostage takings as his specialty. He is a trained hostage negotiator by ways of New Scotland yard. Michael is frequently used in Scandinavian media as subject matter expert on kidnap situations and hostage negotiations and advises a number of clients in the financial and energy sectors.
 

Nilma Abbas
Assistant professor, Zealand – Academy of Technologies and Business

After years of working as a developer, Nilma discovered her true calling in teaching and mentoring.
Passionate about empowering women in tech, she started Girls in IT – Zealand community in 2019. Through mentoring, workshops, and talks, she inspires IT students during their education and helps them kickstart their career. This lead to Nilma being a finalist for the women in Tech awards two years in a row and receiving “Mentor of the Year” from Microsoft Azure Heroes.
Nilma has a master’s degree in ICTE engineering and works as an assistant professor at Zealand Academy.

Paul Vixie
VP and Distinguished Engineer, AWS Security

Paul Vixie serves as VP and Distinguished Engineer at AWS Security (as of April 2022). He was previously the founder and CEO of Farsight Security (2013-2021). In addition, he founded and operated the first anti-spam company (MAPS, 1996), the first non-profit Internet infrastructure software company (ISC, 1994), and the first neutral and commercial Internet exchange (PAIX, 1991). Vixie was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2014 for work related to DNS, and is a prolific author of open source Internet software including Cron and BIND, and of many Internet standards concerning DNS and DNSSEC. He was CTO at Abovenet/MFN (1999-2001) and worked at DEC Western Research Lab (1988-1993) after dropping out of high school in 1980. Vixie earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Keio University in 2011.

Peter Kruse
Founder, CSIS

Peter co-founded CSIS in 2003 and has helped grow the company into a valued partner for customers across northern Europe. Combining a profound technical understanding of malware with a keen appreciation of business needs, Peter is the most frequently-quoted cyber security expert in Denmark and is among the most visible in Europe. He has a long history of active participation in closed and vetted IT-security communities and enjoys strong relationships across the antivirus and banking industries, as well as among law enforcement and higher education institutions. Peter blogs frequently on cyber security issues.


Stefan Tanase
Security Researcher, CSIS

Stefan is an experienced security researcher based in Bucharest, Romania. Having spent the last 12 years of his career combating the world’s most sophisticated cyber threats, Stefan joined CSIS Security Group in 2019 as Cyber Intelligence Expert, part of the eCrime Unit. Through innovative research projects and effective public speaking engagements, he actively contributes to keeping internet users safe. While Stefan specializes in collecting threat intelligence and monitoring the cybercrime ecosystem, he has a real passion for digital rights and internet privacy.


Morten Duus
Vice President, Vestas

Morten Duus is an expert in building and maturing digital infrastructure for global-scale organisations, with more than fifteen years of experience working across digitalisation, IT and cyber security. With a background in Business Administration and Computer Science, Morten worked across a range of industries, before joining Vestas and the renewables industry. Over the past decade, Morten has overseen Vestas’ global IT landscape, scaling up its infrastructure and operational maturity alongside the rapid growth of the renewables industry.

Daniel Shepherd
CEO, CSIS

Daniel joined CSIS in order to drive the creation of two spin-off companies: one focused on Incident Response and Threat Hunting, the other focused on eCommerce Fraud.
Daniel has been working in the cybersecurity industry for over 5 years now. He initially started with S21sec, the leading security service provider in Spain and Portugal. Based in Mexico City, he led the company’s LATAM operations. Then, having moved back to be based in London, he was appointed Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of International Business.
Before S21sec, Daniel worked for over 12 years for various US and European management consultancy firms, advising companies across various industries and globally on strategy, growth and operational improvement.
